Good day to my small but perfectly formed readership.
I thought that whilst my hot ‘n’ spicy chicken and hot ‘n’ spicy potato wedges were cooking in the oven, I would update you all on my last few days. However, I don’t have time for that currently, as I have a salad to make. The wife wants salad. I want baked beans. I see no possibility for compromise there. I will not substitute baked beans for salad. I don’t care how healthier some people might claim salad to be, it’s just not going to happen.
Anyway, so today I taught some year 8 kids about Ecological Systems. Basically, it’s all about how animals and plants ADAPT to their ENVIRONMENTAL wotsits. Can’t remember the word right now. A lot of the kids actually knew most of the stuff they were learning, but we all had a great time, and I learnt that camels don’t actually store water in their humps, but fat. Well you learn something new every single day, especially when you do supply in a grammar school.
Gotta check the chicken and wash the lettuce. Enjoy your Tuesday evening.
