This is it then, my last night living in Phil’s house. I’ve been here since October 2006 - I do believe that is the longest time I’ve lived in any one place since I arrived in this town in 1997. That’s erm, 11 years this September. As if I’ve been here for 11 years. An [...]

More stuff on worship. And I’m still packing.
Well, thanks to Ryan and Billy for your interesting contributions to my previous entry. And of course, thanks, mad props, kudos and big up yo’self to Billy Bob Milkman for acquiring a new microphone to help video my wedding in great quality.
I had a post brewing in the back of my mind about worship. More [...]
stuff x3 (cigarette smoke)
I have spent the past few minutes (at least) searching in vain for a wordpress theme for my blog. I found several, but none are good enough (or free). I like this one, anyway. It’s always good when you design it yourself. But sometimes I want a more busy theme, more FEATURES, more stuff. And [...]
What I do, not what I am
I was browsing around the world of blogs earlier on, via a couple of new contacts I’ve made. I discovered something that I was unaware of previously. Something that doesn’t sit too comfortably with me. I’ll just say it.
The Worship-Leader culture.
Whatever that means. Now, I’m a worship leader in that often I lead worship at [...]
A happy blog
The process of migrating of my flickr photos failed halfway through the first stage.
I came home from the Beth’s house to find Migratr had paused, and couldn’t be resumed. So I cancelled it. Anyway, if I’m starting from scratch with my dave8 account, why would I want all my dav1ddav3 photos there too? I wouldn’t, [...]
Goodbye dav1ddav3, hello dave8
My quest for anonymity is being taken a step further tonight, as I am currently downloading every single photo from my existing flickr stream. I will be importing them to http://flickr.com/photos/dave8 in due course. I will lose all my comments and favourites, but I think it is a small price to pay for the privilege [...]
Let go. Hear me?
“Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness…”
Matthew 6:33, The Bible.
I have probably blogged about this before. Obviously we need to stick it in context. Jesus is basically telling us not to worry about money, food, clothes etc. Seek God’s will before any of this stuff, and He will give you everything you need. [...]
Metaphorical-tentacle-stretching
And so I have finished proof-reading. It has been an eventful afternoon. I have changed many sentence structures and grammatical and punctuation errors.
I have also stretched out my metaphorical tentacles in the direction of Ryan at iamanoffering.com. Thoroughly nice guy.
And now, beloved readers, I need a shave, before I zoom off to the prospective in-laws [...]
Restoration
In between proof-reading and altering the assignments of my wife-to-be (in three weeks and three days!), I have restored my blog back to a personally favourable design.
I need coffee and lunch.
Lost
oops. I messed up my template and didn’t back it up. I always do that, and it always happens after midnight. This will do for now.
It’s good for me
Tonight, as I sat through the youth Bible study, I decided I need to start writing Bible studies. Whenever I lead a Bible study, I always learn lots and feel as though my relationship with Jesus is strengthened through planning the study. Which I suppose makes sense, as that is what should happen when we [...]

One final thought
I think I liked tonight because of its quirkiness. It was like being in a film, but not actually taking part in it, thanks to my camera. Bizarre. More tomorrow, I think, but no dancing.
